Thanks to DaisyTroop #1848

These wonderful girls from Daisy Troop #1848 donated snacks to Indy Snack Attack. Its so great seeing you girls having a heart for giving and taking action helping out your fellow classmates.

Thanks again and keep up the great works!

Volunteer Spotlight

This amazing, young lady is Abby who is currently in 6th grade. She took the initiative to start a program at her school that benefits Indy Snack Attack.

She convinced her school to put a bin in the lunch room to collect unopened, wrapped food that would be otherwise discarded. Students throw away lots of food each day that can be otherwise put to good use. So, Abby had the idea of placing a bin in her cafeteria to collect any unopened items they did not eat. She then passes these donations on to Indy Snack Attack to be distributed in the snack bags. Some of the items collected are applesauce, juice boxes, raisins, and pretzels.

Way to be proactive and an inspiration to your fellow students!

Food Glorious Food

Over the last couple of weeks we've had three schools do food drives for us. We don't have everything sorted yet, but I do know that Fall Creek Intermediate has donated over 1,000 snacks to Indy Snack Attack. WOW!!!!!  Cumberland Road Elementary and Thorpe Creek have also done food drives and we will be updating the website soon with how well they did. So check back soon!
