New School Year, New Schools

I'd like to welcome Cumberland Rd Elem and Riverside Intermediate schools to our Snack Attack Family. The program has been running for a couple weeks and seems to be going well. With the addition of these new school we are now up to delivering 60 snack bags a week. That's 500 snacks a week!

Winding Down Our First Year

Our first year of Indy Snack Attack is coming to a close. With everyone's efforts we were able to help 20 students get through the weekend with our snacks.

Growing, Growing

Second School Added

Last month we added a second school. We added Fishers Junior High and 14 students. They are really excited about the program and the students have done a great job donating snacks to help out their fellow students in need.

We are in the planning stages for selecting and adding more schools next fall. If you know of a school that is middle school or higher, has students on the free lunch program and think there might be a need we would love to talk with them. Please email us with the contact information and we would be happy to get in touch with them.

How's it going?

How's it going you ask? Well let me just give you a little update. Here is some feedback from one of the schools.

-Very easy to administer.
-Whole process of Indy Snack Attack is very seamless.
-Families really appreciate the extra help.

Very excited the program is going well and we hope to expand it to other schools in 2013!

Last Day of FCI Food Drive

Today is the last day to bring in your donations to FCI for the Snack Attack food drive. We will gladly take donations any time during the year. Students at FCI can leave donations for Snack Attack any time in the office.
